What is an escape room?

You and your friends are brought into one of our four amazingly themed rooms, the only way out is by cracking codes, solving puzzles, and uncovering hidden clues. It's like being in your own real-life adventure movie, where every twist and turn brings you closer to freedom. It's an adrenaline-pumping race against the clock, with just 60 minutes to outsmart the room and make your escape. Are you up for the challenge?

How do we receive hints?

Here at Game Over we have a state of the art Auto Help System! This means no walkie talkies or staff having to come into the room to help you. In Atlantis? You'll have a mermaid to help you through your adventure. There's a unique character for each room for maximum immersion!

Is Game Over suitable for beginners or experienced Escapers?

Both! We can change the difficulty of the room with our state of the art Auto Help System. So if it's your first time doing an escape room or you're a master escaper, Game Over is perfect for you.

Question 4

I'd like to book for six people but don't want to pay for everyone..

Accepted Answer

That's no problem, you can book for however many you would like to pay for now, then add any extras on to the booking once you arrive here on the day.

Will there be strangers with us in the room?

All bookings are private, some escape rooms mix bookings to fill rooms up, but we do not :)

Question 6

What's the cancellation policy?

Accepted Answer

48 hours notice for cancellations. With 24 hours notice we can move the booking to another time or date.

Question 7

What if one of my friends on the booking doesn't show up?

You can replace your friend, but we can't give refunds for no shows.

Do your rooms actually look like the photos on the website?

What's the age limit?

Accepted Answer

With no adult present, players must be 16 years old. With an adult present, we believe the game is best for players 12 and above. Younger players are welcome as long as they are being supervised by an adult. If you're not sure about your group, please call and we can advise you :)

We would like to make a booking for 8 people, will that work?

Accepted Answer

6 is recommended for an optimal experience, but we do regularly take bookings for 8, give us a call for extra info, we'd love to help recommend to you the best room depending on the group.

Do you do team building events and birthday parties?

Accepted Answer

Yes! We love team building and parties. We don't have a room for food, but we are located next to many restaurants and Sunridge Mall is only a 3 minute drive away.

Is there Parking at Game Over Calgary?

There sure is! We have a huge car park, and it's free :)

Is it okay for just 2 people?

Two person bookings work great! Everyone loves a good date night here at Game Over.

I'm worried that I won't be very good solving puzzles and I will be embarrassed..

No need to fear, we love helping new players experience their first ever escape room and most people come back and try all our rooms after completing their first :)
